Holding Structure

When human society civilised, one of the factors which became important is how do we govern ourselves? When people with diverse interests come together, they bring to the table different skill sets, aspirations and expectations. The challenge then is how do we accommodate these, to create cohesion rather than friction.

Similarly, the idea of Beforest required our members to take up collective ownership without dampening individual rights and participations. The challenge before us was to come up with structures which encapsulated the very spirit of collective ownership.

Based on the law of the land and wherever possible (on compliances with respective state-laws), we tried to devise a LLP holding structure which would entrust requisite ownership and member participation.

By collectively holding the plantation and agricultural land, while allowing individual housing spaces we are able to treat each collective as one large farm and provide each and every member their personal dwelling space (which is at the core of our offering).  

Thanks to the support of our members, we are making this structure a reality.
